Apple Picking

We were lucky enough to be invited to go apple picking by Aunt Amy, so we jumped at the chance.  We got there a little early so we let the kids play on the playground.  They had a couple of cute kid houses and then also had an apple house.  Once Aunt Amy, Callie and Cayden got there we got our baskets and walked out to pick our apples.  We had so much fun!  The Nowells stopped at the Fuji trees while the Rhymers headed to the Granny Smith trees.  Zack was sooooooo funny.  We would put an apple in his basket, he would pick it up and start eating.  We would put another apple in the basket he would then throw down the one he had, pick up the new apple, and then start eating it.  So funny!  The boy probably had 5 apples.  Once our baskets were full we headed back to the top of the hill to pay for them.  We then took a nice hay ride minus the hay.  After the ride we had our picnic lunch and then let the kids play a little longer.  We then decided to head on out so we could get the kids to take their naps.  We had such a great trip.  Thanks Aunt Amy for inviting us!  We loved it!!

Halloween Costumes

My sister talked to me the other day about what she is planning on putting the boys in for Halloween.  She is going to have them be Buzz Lightyear and an Alien from Toy Story.  She then thought about what she wanted her and Kevin to go as.  So she asked me to whip up something.  Here I am modeling Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head.  I'm still debating if I should add ears.  What do you think?

Our shopping adventure

There was a yard sale for MOPS on Saturday. What didn't sell I decided to throw in my car to try and sell at the preschool's yard sale this week. There was so much in my car that there is NO room for my stroller. I HAD to get to the store today to start working on costumes for my sister and brother-in-law. So while we were in the fabric store I told thd kids that they had to hold hands. So wherever they went they were holding hands (so cute!). The first picture is of them holding hands while looking at the candy at the checkout line.

Fire safety day

Today at preschool they had firemen come and teach about fire safety. They gave them fire hats which they haven't taken off since I picked them up.
