Monster Fun

Saturday Night we had a cookout at Aunt Sharon's house and so we made some Monster Cupcakes to match the holiday season!

Zoo

On the 13th we got a chance to go to the zoo and see the dinosaur exhibit that they have put up.  I knew Zack and Aaden would especially love it.  We had a blast!!  The only "hiccup" we had was poor Zack got stung by a Yellow Jacket when we were eating our lunch.  The Zoo staff was very nice to bring us some medicine to take the sting out and gave him a band aide (that was the only way he stopped crying).  My camera died but luckily Mamaw had hers available.  So here are the pictures.  Enjoy!!

State Fair

On Friday, the kids and I went with Mamaw, Papaw, Auntie Crystal, Aunt Stacy and Aaden and Bentley to the State Fair.  We had sooooo much fun!  The kids got to see the animals, ride rides, and eat delicious food! We love to go every year and this year was even more fun!!

Apple Picking

I am WAY behind on posts and I sincerely apologize.  I have been SUPER busy lately (more to come on that later).  Today I have to share our trip to Sky Top Apple Orchard.  This was our 2nd trip in as many years.  I think we will make this an annual trip.  We really enjoy it!  Last year the weather was warm, almost summer weather.  This year was the EXACT opposite.  It turned winter on us!  The high was in the mid 40's, it was rainy and Super cold.  We still had a lot of fun!  We met Aunt Amy, Uncle Michael and cousins Callie and Cayden in Zirconia and went to picking!  Grammy was with us and helped wrangle the kids!  It was so much fun and I have lots of apples to eat over the next few weeks!

Birthday Shout

I am deeply sorry that this has taken me two days to put up! We want to wish Pop a VERY happy (belated) birthday! We love you so much!!!!

Pink Fire Truck

On Saturday mommy left for a church ladies retreat, while Grammy and Daddy took the kids to a fundraiser where they got to see a pink fire truck (in honor of breast cancer awareness month). Maddie said that it was her fire truck (because it was pink). They had fun playing!
