Yesterday was the kids first school field trip. We went to Patterson
Farms. It was originally scheduled a few weeks ago, but due to rain it
was rescheduled to yesterday. I was a little surprised at how clingy
the kids were. I thought since their teachers and classmates were there
that they might want to play but they wanted me to hold them. (My arms
were like jelly that night!) We first viewed a cute little puppet show
that showed how important team work is and that you can help no matter
what size you are. Zack eventually got down and we fed the animals.
Zack and Maddie loved the turkey the best. It gobbled at them
constantly. After feeding the animals they had a "how to make a
scarecrow" station. Zack helped stuff the legs. Maddie was a little
scared so she clung to mommy. We then went on a tractor ride and then picked out pumpkins. It was a lot of fun and mommy got a chance to get to know their teachers better.
