July 1st - Sunday

Sunday was the first full day at the beach.  The kids woke up early...SUPER early.  They woke up at 5:30 am.  I guess they were excited to be at the beach.  We hung around until a decent hour and headed down to the ocean around 8:30 am.  The kids played in the ocean until they realized we had a blow up pool back at our tent filled with water.  This is where they stayed the rest of the morning.  Especially Maddie and Bentley.  They loved the little pool.  Around lunch we packed up the kids and headed inside for lunch and then naps.  Mom volunteered to stay in while they napped and Stacy and I headed back down to hang out by the beach and soak up some sun.  I got a GREAT nap in.  Once the kids were up Stacy and Mamaw took them to the lazy river here at the resort while I made dinner.  Zack really didn't like the water.  I'm not sure if it was due to his ears or what.  He kept asking to go to the ocean instead.  After dinner the kids pulled out their new coloring books and colored until bedtime.  It was much appreciated after they woke up so early.  Stacy and I then headed to the gym to work out and then after us ladies played cards.  It was a very fun 1st day at the beach!
