Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

Today the preschool that the twins go to had their Thanksgiving Day Feast.  All the classes were designated to bring a specific food and all the family was invited to join the feast.  The 2 year old class were dressed as Indians.  They were so cute!  Other classes were a mix of Pilgrims and Indians.  It was nice.  It was crazy.  It was well...madness, but wonderful!

Cousin fun

The Maysonet's have made it NC for Thanksgiving!!  They came in Friday to Mamaw and Papaw's.  So on Saturday all six of them (Mamaw, Papaw, and the Maysonets) came to visit us Nowells.  We decided since it was a little chilly (if it was warm we were going to go to Lazy 5) to go to Discovery Place Kids.  (I only took a few pictures before my camera died.)  While us ladies took the kids the men stayed at the house and watched football.  Then after lunch we left the kids with the men and us ladies went and did some shopping. We came home to make dinner and hang out with all the family.  It has been a while since we have seen everyone.  It was great to see Bentley walking and Aaden talking up a storm.  We had a blast with everyone!

Grampy Look A Like

For years now I have been telling Grampy and Michael that Grampy looks a lot like Gene Rayburn (the host of the Match Game).  Tonight Michael had a hold of the remote control and flipped it to the Game Show Network.  Match game happened to be on.  Maddie looked up and said "It's Grampy".  I swear I didn't teach her to say that.  You judge!!

New Year Resolution Completed

I just realized that back in January I wrote a blog HERE about my New Year Resolutions.  I had two this year.  The first was to write at least 208 blog entries.  Well this is number 211.  I completed this resolution and then some!  My 2nd resolution was to run in more 5Ks.  And while I haven't entered into any official races, I run 3 miles at least 3 times a week.  So I am very proud of what I have accomplished this year.  Don't worry there will be lots more blog entries to come.  I was just so excited to see that I completed my goal!

Home Again

Sunday we headed home.  It was sad to have to say goodbye to our wonderful friends.  The kids just had a blast!  Maddie and Zack again did great on the car ride this time we watched Beauty and The Beast, A Bug's Life, and Lady and the Tramp.  They did great for a 6 hour drive.  We had such a blast at the Graham's house.  Thank you so much for letting us crash your house!

Bouncing Out

Saturday we took all the kids (Maddie, Zack, Camryn, and JB) to a Jumping Jax which is a bounce house.  The kids had such a great time!  The just loved it.  Not only was there a bounce houses, but there is also a HUGE slide.  To get up to the top you had to climb a rope.  So...Maddie and Zack had to have an adult climb up with them.  Zack LOVED it!!  He would slide down and then as soon as he was done he ran around the back to start again.  Maddie didn't really enjoy the slide, but LOVED all the bounce houses.

After the bounce fest we split up (girls and guys).  The guys (Mike, Chris and John) took the kids back to the house while us girls (Lacey, Mandy and I) went shopping.  We had such a great time!  That night after the girls got home we had a wienie roast.  Unfortunately for us it was really cold so we kept Maddie and Zack inside, but we enjoyed the meal quite a bit!  Then they even made us smores.  After the kids were down for bed us adults played some games.  We played a game that I had never played before (not sure the name) it was with three dice that had either a dot, an L, a C, or an R on it.  It was really fun!  Then we played catch phrase.  The girls won this game two or three times.  It was a lot of fun!
