Thanksgiving Eve, A Time to Reflect

Where has the year gone? Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, a time to reflect on all the wonderful blessings God has granted. We are going to be with my family for Thanksgiving this year, which is the first in 8 years. I'm so excited!

2008 has been a really tough year on our family, but it is during the hard times you realize how much you have. I truly have the best husband in the world. During the extremely difficult times this year he has always been by my side to hold my hand, dry my eyes and help pick me up when I couldn't get up on my own. I am so thankful that God brought him into my life. I am truly blessed!!

Snowing in NC!!

Snow!!! Okay, so my pics aren't the best to show you, but here are a couple. It doesn't snow much here in Eastern NC, but it is pouring down now. It's not sticking, but it sure is pretty to look at!

The Sweetest Thing

So this past weekend I was in charge of my baby sister's baby shower. The theme was the sweetest thing. I got the idea off my favorite hostess website, hostess with the mostess. I had huge vases filled with about every candy you could think of. I had 16 lbs of M&M's just to give you an idea of how much candy was there. Here are some more pics of the shower.

The next day was a church shower. Man, Stacy racked up!!! The other picture is the diaper cake I made her for the church shower. I made her a baby book for the first shower.

Congrats Stacy!! Can't wait for Aaden to arrive!!
