The weekend

On Saturday the weather in Castle Hayne was beautiful.  So, we played outside with Ruby, "drove" (pretended to drive) Grampy's boat, and then went to the park with Grampy & Grandma. Then Sunday it was time for us to say goodbye.  We had such a great few days.  We hope everyone had as wonderful of a Thanksgiving as us.

Black Friday

Friday we took a day trip to go and visit Grammy & Pop.  She had lunch for us and also invited Great Aunt Sue and Great-Great Aunt Madelin.  We had a lot of fun playing!  We had spaghetti for lunch and of course got so messy we had to take a bath before naptime.  After our nap we played  some more before we headed back to Grampy & Grandma's.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving we drove to Grampy & Grandma's house.  We made it in time to join them for a Thanksgiving feast and I mean FEAST!!  Everything was yummy!  That afternoon and night we got to spend some quality time with Grampy & Grandma and play.  Grampy & Grandma also let mommy & daddy go do a little Christmas shopping while they watched the kiddos for us.

Thanksgiving Eve

On Wednesday we packed up the car and got out of Mo-ville.  We decided to stop at Mamaw & Papaw's house to spend some time with them and with Uncle Kevin, Aunt Stacy and cousins Aaden & Bentley.  That night we threw the oldest three in the tub to take a bath.  Bentley was playing outside the tub when he decided to try and join.  He ended up throwing Zack's shoe in the water because he wanted to play too.  It was really funny.  That morning we packed back up to head to Grampy & Grandma's house, but not before we got a picture of all four kids.

Mooresville Christmas Parade

About 1 1/2 - 2 months ago I was told that my wonderful husband had volunteered his family to be in the Mooresville Christmas Parade.  I was not happy about it.  I saw two year olds having meltdowns in my head and them throwing fits, BUT....they were wonderful today!  They loved dancing on the float.  We got to see Santa twice (we saw him before the parade b/c his float was near ours and then once we were done we walked back to see him come through town).  The kids got suckers and hats and just loved waving and dancing.
