Family Fun Friday

Friday was game night.  All four kids got to pick out their favorite game to play.  We played Elephun, Super ABC's, Chutes and Ladders, and Who Shook Hook.  The kids all had so much fun they cried when I told them it was time for bed.

Grammy and Grandma Visit

Since Mike was leaving for the weekend and I needed help, Grammy came Thursday to help me.  Then, since we are leaving for the beach Saturday and I would have been by myself traveling 4.5 hours with 4 kids, Mamaw came to ride with me.  So the kids got to spend yesterday playing with Grammy and Grandma.  Thank you so much ladies for your help!!  We love you!!!!

Thinking Thursday

Yesterday was Thinking Thursday.  We had a school lesson.  We counted to 100, went through the days of the week, quizzed our shaped and colors, and contemplated the weather.  After our lesson we then went to the Library to pick out 3 books each.  We had so much fun and can't wait to read all our books.  

Wet-n-wild Wednesday

Today we visited Village Park again.  The kids loved the splash pad, playground and train.  Ms. Nancy, Katelyn, and Robert joined us.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

My amazing, sweet, wonderful, perfect husband took all the kids to a local college wood bat game last night so I could have an hour and a half to myself.  The kids had a blast.  The players cracked a couple bats and gave them to the kids.  Thanks honey!!!

Travel Tuesday

Today we did "Travel Tuesday".  We took a trip to the post office, because mommy/aunt April had to mail off some dresses.  Then we went to the Dollar Tree.  Everyone got $2 each.  What did they purchase?  Bentley and Aaden both got 1 toy and 1 candy.  Zack got 2 toys (not much of a sweet tooth).  And Maddie got 2 candies (my little sweetie!).  After our shopping adventure, we came home and played play-dough.  After nap, we hit the playset and blew bubbles.  After we played hard, we got in our "cars" and went to the Drive-In movies, where the feature film was Frozen.  I think Travel Tuesday was a success!

Make it Monday

Since I don't want to go crazy.  I have planned my week pretty heavily with stuff to do.  Today is Make it Monday!  We made t-shirts for next week.  We also had Ms. Nancy join us with Katelyn and Robert.  The shirts turned out great!!

I finally put my 13.1 sticker on my car.  Proud of my accomplishment!!!!  

Four Kids

Well, I am apparently glutten for punishment.  I have decided to have four kids this week.  I'm watching my two plus Aaden and Bentley.  A whole week of four kids 5 and under.  Can we say "fun times"!!

Game Night

Saturday night we went to Asheboro to see Mamaw, papaw, aunt Stacy, uncle Kevin and the boys.  Crystal and Dean came over with miss Emma along with some games.  We had a good old fashion game night.  Fun times!!!

Choir Camp

So what have I been doing that has put me behind on posts?  It's choir camp week!!  We had about 40 kids this week and we (6 teachers) teach them a song with motions.  Then on Friday, they perform them.  There is also a puppet performance by the older kids.  Love choir camp and all that it stands for!!!

Celebrating Daddy

One day last week I was strolling through Pinterest and Michael saw a shirt that was funny.  So, the kids and I helped make him one.  What was the funny shirt?  It said "Real Men Make Twins".  

Daddy, woke up to us serving him breakfast in bed.  He also got a watch that the kids picked out.  The kids made him paper weights out of rocks that said "My daddy rocks".  After church he got to do what he wanted....nothing, but watch the US Open.  I made him his favorite chicken wings and he grilled out burgers.  Hope your Father's Day was as special as you honey!!!  We love you and we are lucky to have you!!!!!!!

Happy Father's Day

Again, sorry for the VERY delayed post.  I wanted to wish some very special fathers a wonderful Father's Day.  First, happy Father's Day to my wonderful, sweet and amazing hubby for being such a wonderful dad to Maddie and Zack.  

Happy Father's Day to my dad!  Thank you for coaching me in life.  You are an awesome coach!!

Happy Father's Day to Mike, Sr.  Thank you for raising my hubby to be such the wonderful man he has become.

Happy Father's Day to Greg for loving Michael as his own, though he didn't have to.  We love you all!!!!

Papaw Love

Saturday night, we met Papaw and Mamaw for dinner at a seafood restaurant that was about halfway for us and them.  We had amazing food and gave Papaw his Father's Day gift.  Happy Father's Day Papaw! 

Tennis Time

Saturday, we hit the tennis courts and enjoyed some family tennis time.  We tried giving the kids a simple lesson.  I'm not sure it was fun for them, but mommy and daddy had fun!!!

Splashing Fun

Last week we were invited by our neighbor to go to Village Park in Kannapolis.  They had a splash pad, train, and an awesome playground.  The kids loved it.  I'm hoping to take another trip soon.  I was also told they have outdoor movies there on Friday nights.  We just might hit that up this summer.
