Maddie's First Hair Cut

Today Maddie finally let me take her to get her hair cut. It was nothing drastic, just 3" off. The lady that cut her hair was wonderful and gave her a "princess" braid and we were in heaven after that!

That is actually Zack in the red car on the left.  It was neat to see them side by side getting hair cuts!

Toby Keith Concert

Last Saturday we were invited to go see Toby Keith in concert with the Troutmans.  We had a blast and I hope you enjoy the pics!

Minute To Win it

After Callie's birthday party two Saturdays ago we then went to ANOTHER birthday party for Auntie Crystal.  She had a Minute to Win it theme party.  There were 6 challenges that were so much fun!

Here are the challenges/Score board

  The first challenge was Face the Cookie which was a challenge to get an oreo cookie from the top of your forehead to your mouth with only using your facial expressions.  Here are a couple of funny pictures of us attempting this!

 The next challenge was Junk in the Trunk.  This challenge you had an empty tissue box hooked to your belt and in the box was 8 ping pong balls.  You had to shake them out.  FUNNY!

 The next one was A Bit Dicey.  You had a popcicle stick in your mouth and had to stack 6 dice on it.

 The fourth challenge was Bite Me.  There were 6 paper bags ranging from 12 inches to 2 inches in size on the ground.  You had to pick up the bag with only your mouth and the only body part that could touch the ground were your feet.  No hands, knees, etc could touch the ground. 

Yes...this is very incriminating!

Challenge 5 I don't have any pictures of but it was called  A Bit Tipsy.  You had to drink 2 different soft drinks down enough to where the can could stand on its side. 

Challenge 6 was called How's it Hanging.  We had a to tie a banana to our belt loop.  Then we had to swing the banana to hit an orange to a hoola hoop.  (no hands of course). 

 

This was such a fun party that I think I would love to do again.  By the way Hope you had a wonderful birthday Auntie Crystal!  Thanks for inviting us!!

Cameras ready

Both kids absolutely LOVE this Giant Peach Water tower that we pass when we head into SC.  So on our way back from Callie's birthday party the kids were super excited to see it again.  However, poor Zack fell asleep and missed it (he woke up and was very upset he missed it).  Maddie pulled out her toy camera to take pictures of the giant peach!  It was really funny!

Callie's Birthday Party

I am so way behind!  We went to a fun birthday party a couple of weekends ago for our sweet niece Callie!  It was at a bounce house place and the kids LOVED it!  Here are some fun pictures.

Homemade Birthday Gift

This weekend is our niece's (Callie) 4th birthday.  I can't believe she is turning 4.  Where has the time gone?  She is a HUGE Dora fan and her party is even a Dora theme party.  I am so proud of the gift I made her that I wanted to share.  So...Amy if you are reading this make sure Callie is no where near the computer until after Saturday's party.
