Adorable

Below are a couple of cute pictures of the kids. The first is Maddie looking at mommy through a glass door. Zack did it too, but by the time I got the camera out he wouldn't do it again. Maybe next time.

The next picture is of them both posing in their new swimming goggles. Aren't they funny?

Bentely Baby Dedication

Sunday was Bentley's baby dedication. I was honored when I was asked to even sing in it! Bentley was great! When the preacher took him and did his thing Bentley just smiled through all of it. When the crowd clapped he smiled bigger. I joked and even said that I think he might like the spot light and don't be surprised when he becomes an actor. Afterward we went back to the house and had all the kids pose for a group photo.

Luau

Saturday Mike and I had the opportunity to attend Dean's Birthday party which was a luau theme. Crystal went all out and it was awesome! There was a corn hole tournament, volleyball and even a limbo contest. They had karaoke set up and of course we all took our turns up there. It was just a fun night! There was amazing food, but my favorite was definitely the fruit. She had cut up 8 pineapples to make this amazing pineapple tree display. I ended up eating my weight in pineapple all night. Thank you so much for letting us share in on the fun!!

Going for a Swim

Friday mom had off and Stacy took a half day so we loaded up all the kiddos and headed to Thousand Trails. It is a campsite that my parents have been members of my whole life (or about it). We took them to the kiddie pool and they played on the playground and we just had a wonderful time!

The picture below is one that I got really quickly. We are starting to hold hands when we walk across the parking lot. I thought this was just so sweet!!

My 1st Vegetable

Back at Easter I decided to give the whole "gardening" a try. I went out and bought two huge pots and decided to grow tomatoes and bell peppers. After months and months I finally have my first tomato ready to eat. I had several before this one, but for some reason they were rotting on the bottom before they were ready to be picked, but not this beauty. Out of a sea of green I finally have this red tomato.

My bell peppers aren't taking off as well as I would like. It seems to take them forever to grow. I have several budded, but at this rate it will be at the end of summer before they will be ready. Who knows maybe I'll be surprised by them too!

Hug and Make Up

My newest "trick" in TRYING (note that it does say trying) to get the kids to stop fighting is to hug and make up after they fight. They think it is funny and enjoy doing it. Here is pic of them hugging it out. Sorry they are in just their diapers, they just got done eating something incredibly messy.

CMA Pictures

This took a LOT longer than I had planned. Some pictures I had cropped and fixed all nice, but for some reason when I put them on the slide show it lost them. So after four hours of working on these I just gave up. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Warrenton Visit

Friday night we packed up the car and headed to Warrenton. We went to visit our friends Claire and Gregory and their newest addition Caroline. We also were able to visit Cecile and Randy. On Saturday Mike and Gregory were in the Little Man Golf tournament. While the boys were playing, Claire and I (along with the kids) took the kids to the park and had a blast. I hate we are so far from them. It was great to get to catch up. After the tournament we headed out and back to Asheboro to spend the night. Thank you Claire and Gregory for letting us stay and we had a great time. Caroline is beautiful!!
