Yay for Snow

It snowed a tiny bit here last night.  Then came a lot of ice over night.  This morning was not good weather for snowmen, so we did the next best thing and went tubing.  The kids went out early and then came back in to thaw.  Then a few hours later were back out with the neighborhood kids the second time.  They have had a blast!

Neighbor Birthday

The kids have already made friends here at our new house.  It didn't take them long.  In fact, the day we moved in they made friends with the next door neighbors.  Saturday, the kids were invited a Frozen party a few doors down. The mom and dad had a "snowball" fight using giant marshmallows.  It was really funny until they starting getting pelt in the face.  Us parents still laughed.  Here is a picture of them going at it!

2015

Man, have I've been a slacker! I sincerely apologize for the lack of posts in the last month and a half. I am now promising that I will be better!! It is now February 2015, and I am starting a new goal. Yes, I know that January, Is the time for resolutions, but this year I'm starting in February. Tomorrow I start a very lofty goal, I am starting my training for my first sprint triathlon.  For the last two weeks, I have got in the pool, biked and ran, but not altogether. This week is a change. I also promise to start getting better at posting blogs.  There is always a lot going on at the Nowell household, and I promise to share more of what is going on.so wish me good luck and my new adventure. I hope that I do not have to take my words back.
