Thursday July 5th

Thursday after our morning at the beach, lunch and naps...Daddy and I took Maddie and Zack to play their first ever round of Putt-Putt.  Or as Zack will call it "golf".  We took them to a place just around the corner from where we are staying and it was a dinosaur themed place.  Zack LOVED it!  I think Maddie enjoyed it, but I think Zack liked it a bit more.  He eventually let us show him how to play.  (He is very independent and doesn't like us to show him how to do things.)  However, around hole number 12 I was able to help him hold it.  He got a legitimate 3 on that hole.  Then in hole 17 he got a hole in ONE!  The other holes Maddie and Zack would walk right up to the hole and place their ball next to the cup and knock it in. It was funny!  Every time mommy or daddy tried to hit it and it didn't go in on it's own they would then pick it up and put it in the hole for us.  So we got a lot of hole in ones...technically right?!?!   After Putt-Putt we met Mamaw, Papaw, Aunt Stacy, Aaden and Bentley for dinner over at Broadway and had dinner at Johnny Rockets.  After dinner we let them go feed the ducks/fish and then go play on the play ground.  It was another night where we didn't go to bed at our normal time, but I think they had a blast.
