Wednesday July 4th

Wednesday we headed down to the beach for the morning.  Daddy made it safely in around lunch time which was perfect to help with the kids.  He stayed in during their nap time while Mamaw and myself went on a quick shopping trip.  We got back in time for dinner.  We had a flag cake for dessert to celebrate the 4th.  After dinner we dressed all the kids in matching outfits that I had made to take lots of pictures.  Around 9pm we walked outside and sat in front of our hotel and watched TONS of fireworks.  Poor Bentley was petrified of them (like Maddie was last year) so Papaw stayed inside with him while the rest of us walked out to watch the display.  The kids loved all the colors and this year weren't afraid of all the sounds.  After a few Zack was ready to go in, so daddy took him in, while Maddie and Aaden stayed a little longer to watch the finally with Mamaw, Aunt Stacy and mommy.  Once we got back inside the kids were out!  They were exhausted, poor things all stayed up well past their bed times.  After the kids were down Mike, Mamaw, Stacy and I played another game of Life.  The winner?!?!  Mom again.  She smoked us!  We had a great 4th hope everyone else did too!
