10 Years Later

10 years have passed, but it seems like yesterday that our lives were changed.  September 11, 2001 is a day that everyone remembers where they were, what they were doing, and how they learned the news that America was under attack.

My kids will never know what is is like to be able to go to a plane terminal to watch a love one leave, not have to have pat down searches to ride a plane, not grow up in a world where there is such words as terror alerts, or even be in a world where a plane could be a weapon.  And while these are all scary thoughts, I'm honored to be in a country where we are still living our lives as normal as possible.  We remember those that have lost their lives, but we honor them by living our own.  We will not let terrorists win and live in fear.
